Beyond IQ
Terms and Conditions
For Beyond IQ workshops, consultancy, training, recorded content and educational services.
Effective date: 27 August 2026
1. Scope and contracting party
These terms apply to offers and agreements for services supplied by Beyond IQ, Neuweg 330, 1215 JH Hilversum, the Netherlands, KVK 77754581, VAT ID NL003237675B89 (“Beyond IQ”, “we”, “us”). They cover workshops, training, consultancy, coaching, courses, meetings, licences, recordings and educational materials. A signed quotation, order page or specific agreement may add to or override these terms. Mandatory consumer rights always prevail.
2. Offers and agreement
An offer is valid for the period stated in it. An agreement is formed when we confirm an order or registration, receive a signed quotation, or accept payment through the website. The client must provide accurate information and be authorised to contract for the named organisation. We may decline an order before acceptance and will refund any amount already received for that declined order.
2.1 Direct purchases by parents and individual participants
Beyond IQ online lectures, parent workshops, recorded workshops, courses and similar consumer services may be purchased and paid for directly by a parent, guardian or other adult participant. That purchaser is the contracting party and is responsible for the stated price. Where the purchaser registers another person, including their child, the purchaser confirms that they are authorised to do so and will provide any consent reasonably required. A school is responsible for payment only where it places or accepts the order in writing.
3. Services and participation
The description on the order page, quotation or confirmation identifies the service, date, delivery format, inclusions and exclusions. Reasonable changes to speakers, sequence, platform or materials may be made without reducing the essential value of the service. Participants must behave respectfully, protect confidential information shared by others and follow reasonable safety and platform instructions. Serious disruption, harassment, unlawful conduct or unauthorised recording may lead to removal without refund, subject to mandatory law.
4. Prices, VAT and payment
Consumer prices are shown inclusive of VAT and unavoidable charges before purchase. Business quotations may state prices excluding VAT. Travel, parking, accommodation, meals, venue or additional material costs are charged only where disclosed in the quotation or agreed in writing. Payment is due by the date on the invoice or immediately for website checkout. For overdue business invoices, statutory commercial interest and reasonable collection costs may be charged after the required notice. Consumer debt collection follows mandatory Dutch rules.
5. Business cancellations and rescheduling
Unless a quotation states otherwise, a business client may cancel in writing: more than 21 working days before the start, no program fee; 21 to 5 working days before the start, 50%; fewer than 5 working days before the start, 100%. A written request to reschedule received at least 14 days before the start has no rescheduling charge, subject to availability; 14 to 5 working days before the start, 50%; fewer than 5 working days before the start, 75%. Non-recoverable third-party costs already committed remain payable where disclosed and legally permitted.
6. Consumer cancellation and withdrawal
Consumers have the statutory rights described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If a consumer asks us to begin a service during the 14-day withdrawal period, we will obtain the required express request. If the consumer then withdraws before completion, a proportionate amount may be payable for the part already supplied. For digital content supplied immediately, access begins only after the required express consent and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right will be lost once performance begins.
7. Cancellation or changes by Beyond IQ
If illness, technical failure or another serious issue prevents delivery, we may provide a suitably qualified replacement, move the service, or offer an equivalent online format where reasonable. If we cancel without offering a reasonable equivalent, we refund the affected service fee. We are not liable for indirect loss or a participant's travel or accommodation costs unless mandatory law requires otherwise. If a force-majeure event prevents performance for more than two months, either party may terminate the affected part; completed work and irrecoverable agreed costs remain payable.
8. Intellectual property and permitted use
All lesson plans, slides, recordings, activities, frameworks, surveys, templates, program structures, training formats and other materials remain the intellectual property of Beyond IQ or its licensors. Purchase grants only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right for the named participant or client to use supplied materials for the stated internal educational purpose. Materials and recordings may not be copied, adapted, translated, uploaded, published, resold, shared with another school or person, used to train an AI system, or used to create or deliver a competing program without prior written permission. Student handouts expressly provided for classroom distribution may be used only within the agreed cohort and licence period.
9. Confidentiality and data protection
Each party must protect confidential information received through the engagement and use it only for the agreed purpose. This does not apply to information already public, lawfully received from another source, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law. Personal data is handled under the applicable privacy policy and any written data-processing arrangement.
10. Liability
Services provide educational guidance and do not guarantee identification, grades, admission, behaviour, wellbeing or a particular school outcome. For business clients, liability for direct loss attributable to a proven breach is limited to the fees paid for the affected service, except where limitation is prohibited, including intent or deliberate recklessness. We are not liable to business clients for indirect loss, loss of profit, business interruption or consequential loss. Consumer liability is not excluded or limited where Dutch law does not allow it.
11. Complaints
Send a complaint to info@beyond-iq.com with the order details and a clear description. We will acknowledge it promptly and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 days. The parties will first try to resolve the issue reasonably. Beyond IQ is not affiliated with an external complaints board or alternative dispute-resolution body.
12. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. For business clients, disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of Beyond IQ's registered office unless agreed otherwise. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory law and the competent court available to them. If a clause is invalid, the remaining terms continue and the clause is replaced, so far as legally possible, by a valid provision closest to its purpose.
