Beyond IQ
Teachers sorting cards during a Limitless training activity

For teachers in international schools

Your teachers don't need more theory.

They need to know what to do on Monday.

Beyond IQ workshops turn gifted education research into practical tools teachers can recognise and use in real classrooms.

Whole-staff training: four three-hour workshops, online or in person, worldwide. Or send one teacher to the three-workshop series in September, October and November — Early Bird €495 exc. VAT with code TEACHER2026. All prices exclude VAT.

What staff take away

Training should change what happens tomorrow.

  • Recognise giftedness beyond the stereotypes.
  • Identify learners who fly under the radar.
  • Understand underachievement.
  • Support twice-exceptional learners.
  • Respond to perfectionism and disengagement.
  • Differentiate without simply adding more work.
  • Create real challenge.
  • Communicate more confidently with parents.

Where it starts

Four myths that get in the way.

Most missed learners are missed because of an assumption, not a lack of care. Every workshop starts by taking these apart.

  1. 01Gifted students are gifted in all areas.
  2. 02Gifted education is elitist and unnecessary.
  3. 03Gifted students are always high achievers.
  4. 04Everyone is gifted.

Two ways to work with us

Train your whole staff, or send one teacher for the school year.

Both routes start from the same place: helping educators in primary and secondary international schools recognise gifted and high-potential learners and know what to do next. Choose the one that fits your school this year.

Our teacher training

Four sessions. One clear progression.

Each session is a three-hour workshop, practical from the first minute, built on case studies and strategies your team can use straight away. Take one session, or all four as a programme.

  1. 01Session 1

    Understanding Giftedness

Recognising the unique needs and challenges of gifted pupils, and understanding the multiple dimensions of giftedness.

  2. 02Session 2

Students Who Fly Under the Radar

Understanding the characteristics of pupils who don't meet the 'fixed' definition of giftedness but show high potential and aptitude: highly creative pupils, twice-exceptional pupils and gifted girls.

  3. 03Session 3

    Practical Differentiation Strategies

Adapting advanced, complex, in-depth and creative curricula modifications to meet the needs of gifted pupils.

  4. 04Session 4

Writing Effective IEPs for Gifted Pupils

Developing and monitoring individualised education plans for gifted pupils, using case studies and group discussion.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify different profiles of gifted and high-potential learners.
  • Apply classroom strategies to provide meaningful challenge.
  • Develop and monitor IEPs for gifted pupils.

    “Why Should I Bother?”

    How to Motivate Gifted Students

Bright doesn't always mean easy. Gifted students can struggle with boredom, perfectionism, risk aversion and quiet disengagement, at school, at home and in clubs or teams. Lihi shares practical tools you can start using tomorrow, without theory or complex models.

    Understanding Giftedness

Why Inclusion Must Also Mean Gifted Learners

Gifted education is inclusion. In international schools, mobility, language and culture can hide high potential, leading to under-challenge, frustration and disengagement. This session cuts through the myths and shares simple, scalable supports: whole-class moves, targeted extensions and individual plans.

What happens after the workshop matters most.

I really enjoyed the workshop. I don’t know yet what to do with all the information, but it was very eye opening. I look forward to taking this up in both mentor meetings and subject meetings.
