Beyond IQ attaches great importance to the privacy of its clients, as well as to that of the users of the website and webshop. In order to guarantee your privacy as best as possible, we apply several core values.

The storage of client data includes personal and identification data and psychological data (such as perspective plan, guidance plan, progress or observation reports, interim reports and evaluation of the coaching, therapy or guidance), which are based on the agreement(s) concluded with you. In this way we can guarantee proper care. Where necessary, permission will always be requested for the processing of client data.

  • the smooth running and completion of the client’s care process
  • informing (parents of) clients
  • declaring and invoicing our services (to parents, municipalities or schools)
  • performing other services requested by you

Access, correction and deletion of your data

You have the following rights:

  • receive an explanation of what personal data we have and what we do with it
  • access to the precise personal data we have about you
  • having mistakes corrected
  • the removal of outdated personal data

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or transfer of your personal data or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to processing your personal data to info@beyond-iq.com. To ensure that the access request has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) invisible in this copy to prevent misuse of a copy of your identity document (the CopyID app is available through the government, with which the aforementioned markings are easy to apply). Once we have verified your identity, we will destroy this copy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at the latest within four weeks.

Provision to third parties

Beyond IQ is obliged to maintain the confidentiality of all confidential information that it has obtained in the context of providing assistance through parents, clients, schools or other sources. Information is considered confidential if this has been communicated by the other party or if this results from the nature of the information. Data is expressly not provided to third parties, other than third parties who are directly involved in the implementation of the agreements between you and us, or unless we are obliged to do so by law. This is always done in consultation with (the parents of) the client.

Security

We take recognized security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to client data. Digital messaging with regard to clients who have received a decision through the municipality takes place via a secure environment that complies with the iStandards of the National Health Care Institute.

Retention period

We use the legal retention periods: two, five, seven or fifteen years, depending on the document or data.

Guaranteeing privacy of the users of the website and webshop

Use of personal data

By using the contact forms available on our website, you leave certain personal data with us. We only use the data provided directly by you and for which you give permission to use it for the following purposes:

  • contact you by phone or email upon request
  • scheduling an appointment or conversation
  • registering your participation in a training or course
  • registering your child’s participation in a training or enrichment class
  • sending your order via the webshop and the financial processing of your order
